Sinopse
A war rages between two neighboring countries, with one side possessing ancient dragons bound by pacts to protect them. These dragons can level battlefields but are rendered useless by cavities. A special unit, the dragon dentists, cares for the dragons' teeth. Nonoko Kishii joins this unit after surviving a recruitment test that involves witnessing their future demise. One day, they gain a new member, Bernard "Bel" Octavius, an enemy officer revived by the dragon's teeth. Despite his appearance being an omen of disaster, Bel is placed under Nonoko's care. Will Bel come around to the dragon dentists' attitudes toward death and help them face their painful future?
Background
Ryuu no Haisha is based off the first episode of Nihon Animator Mihonichi, a collaborative weekly OVA series of standalone anime shorts.
