Sinopse
Shou Zama, an 18-year-old from Tokyo, is summoned to the medieval fantasy world of Byston Well. He is put into service under Lord Drake Luft, who seeks to expand his power. Shou pilots Aura Battlers, insectoid mecha designed by Shot Weapon. However, his alliances change when he meets Marvel Frozen, a rebel against Drake's political agenda. Joining the resistance led by Neal Given, Shou fights alongside his new comrades to prevent Drake from taking over Byston Well.
Background
Aura Battler Dunbine is adapted from the novel The Wings of Rean by director Yoshiyuki Tomino, which originally did not include mechs, added into the anime at the sponsors' request.
