Sinopse
Marin e sua irmã mais nova Urin são sereias que descobrem um misterioso anel prateado sob as ondas. Determinada a devolvê-lo ao seu dono, Marin leva Urin com ela para o mundo do céu, apesar dos avisos de uma tartaruga idosa. Elas encontram a dona do anel, Kanon Miyamori, que o havia descartado após um rompimento. Marin insiste que o anel é muito bonito para ser jogado fora, mas Kanon o descarta novamente. Enquanto procuram pelo anel, Urin acidentalmente quebra o selo de um caixão de pedra, libertando um ser maligno chamado Sedna. A tartaruga idosa, Matsumoto, revela-se a Kanon e nomeia Marin como a Sacerdotisa do Mar. Juntas com Kanon, a Sacerdotisa do Céu, elas devem trabalhar juntas para salvar o mundo da ameaça de Sedna.
