Sinopse
Na movimentada cidade de Edoropolis, animais mecânicos coexistem pacificamente. No entanto, quando o Lorde Wanko descobre que o Lorde Korn, principal conselheiro do xogum, está tramando para assumir o poder, ele sabe que a ação deve ser tomada para preservar a paz. Para frustrar os planos de Korn, Wanko forma os Nyankees, uma equipe de ninjas de elite liderada pelo corajoso Yattarou, que empunha a espada mística Masamasa. Com tal poder, os Nyankees parecem invencíveis!
Contexto
Kyattou Ninden Teyandee foi adaptado para a série em inglês Samurai Pizza Cats pela Saban Entertainment em 1991. Esta versão apresenta um enredo completamente original e tem 52 episódios. A série está atualmente disponível para transmissão no Peacock; foi lançada em DVD e Blu-ray pela Discotek Media em DVD em 30 de julho de 2013 e em Blu-ray em 19 de janeiro de 2016, respectivamente. A Discotek também licenciou a versão original da série em 2013, lançando-a separadamente em DVD em 30 de abril de 2013. Um jogo baseado em Kyattou Ninden Teyandee foi desenvolvido e publicado pela Tecmo para o Nintendo Entertainment System em 1991. Embora o jogo tenha sido lançado oficialmente apenas no Japão, um patch feito por fãs foi criado, incluindo uma adaptação completa em inglês que substitui elementos da série original por elementos correspondentes a Samurai Pizza Cats.
