Sinossi
In the late Edo period, Japan faced an unprecedented crisis when Kurofune, or Black Ships, arrived from foreign countries. However, a giant robot named Onigami, which had existed since ancient times, drove away the Kurofune ships, ensuring the exclusion of foreigners. The story unfolds in a Japan where the Meiji Restoration of 1868 never occurred. The tagline proclaims, "I can be the greatest man in the world, because I am a virgin!!"
Sfondo
In 2016, concept creator Kazuya Sasahara initiated a Kickstarter campaign to create a virtual reality 3DCG-animated reboot of Fuuun Ishin Dai☆Shogun. The project aimed to produce a one-minute 360° panorama VR movie. Unfortunately, the campaign fell short, failing to meet its US$200,000 goal.
