Synopsis

Kazuya Kujou, a foreign student at Saint Marguerite Academy in Sauville, is shunned by his peers due to his dark appearance, earning him the nickname "Black Reaper." One day, while searching for ghost stories in the school's library, he discovers a golden hair strand leading him to Victorique de Blois, a doll-like girl with extraordinary foresight. As they form an unlikely bond, they encounter mysteries like a ghost ship and an alchemist with transmutation powers, forcing them to rely on each other.

Background

The 11th episode of Gosick was initially scheduled for March 19 but was delayed to April 2 due to an emergency broadcast about the devastating March 11 earthquake and tsunami. The anime faced further issues when Bandai Entertainment ceased releasing new DVDs, leading to the cancellation of its planned US DVD/Blu-ray release.
