Synopsis
A young girl named Niu embarks on a quest to find the Papo Spring to rescue her tribe, which has fallen into a deep slumber due to the dark magic of wizard Ferrox. Joined by Imp and Zar, they journey to various dinosaur tribes to gather water, fire, wood, gold (iron), and earth relics. However, the constant interference from Ferox and his gang leads to a great war that will decide the fate of the Continent of Gondua.
Background
This series is loosely based on a Korean strategy game with the same title. It was produced over two years by the Korean studio Raon Pictures, with a French studio contributing 25% of the work in exchange for distribution rights in Europe. American program distributor Moonlight and Canada's AB Production secured contracts for distribution in the U.S. and Canadian markets on TV. The show premiered in the second quarter of 2003 in the U.S. and the first quarter in Canada. It also aired on Arirang TV and Toonyverse. In 2005, Insomnia World Sales (France) acquired the rights for Russian dubbing, and the show was released on DVD in 2008.
