Synopsis

Kings are individuals granted extraordinary supernatural powers and the ability to recruit others into their clans. Protecting their clansmen's lives and honor is a crucial duty of the Kings. After a video depicting the murder of a Red Clansman spreads virally, Yashiro Isana, an unassuming student, is accused of the crime. A manhunt for his head ensues, bringing him into contact with Kurou Yatogami, the infamous "Black Dog" and a skilled swordsman determined to fulfill his late master's, the Seventh King's, wishes. Meanwhile, the current Red King, Mikoto Suou, faces his own imminent demise as the search for Yashiro intensifies. However, as Yashiro struggles to prove his innocence, a greater conspiracy unfolds, clouding his memory and causing his close friends to question his very existence. What began as a simple murder is now leading towards a full-blown war between Kings, with the fate of the world hanging in the balance.
