Sinossi
A music video for the song Kappa no Kui Kuo Kua by Japanese vocal group Duke Aces and actress Nobue Ichitani, featured on NHK's Minna no Uta program. The video was animated by Yoji Kuri. It aired in 1975 but was later considered lost media. It was recovered thanks to the Minna no Uta Hakkutsu Project.
Sfondo
The Minna no Uta Hakkutsu Project, initiated in 2009, aims to archive approximately 500 lost songs from the program due to the loss of master tapes, audio, and film from 1961-1982. Factors like copyright law, the cost of film reels, and tape overwriting contributed to these losses. Similar issues affected the BBC, such as the missing episodes of Doctor Who. By 2016, 220 songs were recovered, with 100 of them being music videos.
