Synopsis
In the winter of 1995, Mikiya Kokutou encounters a young woman named Shiki Ryougi during a late-night stroll in the snow. Dressed in a striking white kimono, Shiki's enigmatic gaze piques Mikiya's curiosity. Later, during his high school entrance ceremony, Mikiya notices Shiki and they become acquaintances through lunchtime conversations. As Shiki opens up to him, Mikiya learns about her unique upbringing. Meanwhile, a series of brutal murders occurs across Mifune City, prompting a large-scale police investigation. Due to his cousin's work as a police investigator, Mikiya gains insight into the investigation and becomes concerned for Shiki's safety. As he monitors her actions, he makes a shocking discovery that forever alters his life.
