Synopsis
In the early 21st century, the United Nations Kurobe Research Institute was founded in Japan to examine an ancient artifact uncovered during the Kurobe Dam's construction. Scientists worldwide have congregated at the facility to study the object, while their children attend Mt. Tate International Senior High School and enjoy their daily lives. Yukina Shirahane, a shy high school girl and the facility's head scientist's daughter, accidentally solves part of the artifact's puzzle during a visit to her mother. To her astonishment, a young samurai named Kennosuke Tokisada Ouma from the Sengoku era appears before her. As an extraterrestrial threat looms, Yukina and Kennosuke find themselves defending Earth against the invading forces. Along the way, Yukina uncovers the mystery behind Kennosuke and his determination to protect her.
