Momoya Norihei Anime CMs

In 1958, five years after the launch of public television in Japan, animated/live-action hybrid commercials for Momoya brand food began airing. These commercials, featuring the persona caricature "Norihei Miki" of actor/comedian Tanuma Noriko, were a success. They included puns and parodies, and were continually produced for over half a century, featuring over 300 characters but a core of 7 that were most reoccurring.
