Sinopsis

Death City is home to the renowned Death Weapon Meister Academy (Shibusen), a technical academy headed by the Shinigami—Lord Death himself. Its mission is to raise Death Scythes for the Shinigami to wield against the world's evils. These Death Scythes are not physical weapons but human hybrids who can transform into Demon Weapons after consuming the souls of 99 evil beings and one witch's soul. Soul Eater Evans, a Demon Scythe who cares about what's cool, aims to become a Death Scythe with the help of his straight-laced wielder, Maka Albarn. The contrasting duo work and study alongside Black☆Star and his weapon Tsubaki, as well as Death the Kid, the Shinigami's son, who wields twin pistols Patty and Liz. As they take on missions to collect souls and protect the city, the Shibusen students work together to become sounder in mind, body, and soul.
