Synopsis

Even after defeating Quinella, the pontifex of the Axiom Church, peace remains elusive. Upon contacting the real world, Kazuto "Kirito" Kirigaya discovers that the Ocean Turtle, a mega-float controlled by Rath, was raided. A short-circuit caused by the raiders damages Kirito's fluctlight, leaving him in a coma. Feeling uneasy about the Axiom Church, Alice takes the unconscious Kirito back to their hometown, Rulid Village, disregarding her banishment due to an unresolved crime. Now, Alice lives a peaceful life near the village, hoping for Kirito to wake up. However, disaster strikes when Alice notices that the Dark Territory has begun invading the Human Empire. Resuming her previous alias, Alice Synthesis Thirty, she vows to defeat the Dark Territory to protect the world that Kirito and Eugeo fought so hard to safeguard.
