Synopsis
A young wavemaster, known only by the name Tsukasa, awakens inside the MMORPG The World with partial memory loss. He has no recollection of his actions prior to regaining consciousness. Within the game, the Crimson Knights suspect him of hacking after he was seen alongside a modified cat-like character. Trapped and unable to log out, he roams the virtual world in search of answers, evading the knights and other players he encounters. During his exploration of The World, Tsukasa discovers a mystical item that manifests as a "guardian," pledging to shield him from all danger. Subaru, the Crimson Knights' leader, along with other players who have befriended Tsukasa, begins investigating why he cannot exit the game, aiming to resolve the mystery before it escalates.
