Synopsis
A young wavemaster, known solely by the alias Tsukasa, awakens in an MMORPG named The World, suffering from slight memory loss. He has no recollection of his actions prior to waking up. Within The World, the Crimson Knights suspect him of hacking, as he was observed with a modified character resembling a cat. Unable to log out, he roams the game seeking answers while evading the knights and other players he encounters. During his exploration of The World, Tsukasa discovers a magical item that manifests as a "guardian," offering him protection from all harm. Subaru, the leader of the Crimson Knights, along with other players who have met Tsukasa, begin to investigate his inability to log out. They aim to resolve the issue before it escalates further.
