Synopsis

Mei Onigami discovers a peculiar round creature in her home that only says "chimi." Her sisters, Mutsumi and Hazuki, agree to let it stay until its owner claims it. However, when one of them says "hell," more creatures appear until there are 12. The sisters dismiss this until the critters open a portal, summoning an envoy from Hell. Jabberwock the Eighth, a horned and fanged man covered in fur, arrives to unleash hell on earth under orders from his boss. However, living in the human realm proves challenging, and the Onigami sisters allow him to stay with them. They also take in his "Chimimoryo spirits"—the round demons that preceded his arrival. Known as Jigoku-san by the Onigami sisters, this messenger from Hell faces a tough task if he wants to take over the world. But first, he must survive the everyday challenges of human life.
