Synopsis
Inspired by a section of the novel Cuore by Edmondo de Amicis, the story follows Marco, a young boy living in Genoa, Italy, with his father Pietro. Marco's mother left for Argentina a year ago to find work, and her letters suddenly stop. Worried about his mother's fate, Marco decides to embark on a journey to Argentina to reunite with her. Initially opposed, Pietro is moved by Marco's determination and allows him to go. Marco's journey is filled with encounters that help him grow and find self-acceptance.
