Synopsis
In 1918, during the Taisho era, 17-year-old Benio Hanamura defies tradition. As a lively and argumentative tomboy, she enjoys kendo and tree-climbing adventures with her best friends Tamaki and Ranmaru. Determined to find love on her own terms, Benio faces challenges from her family. Throughout her journey, she encounters tests of love, independence, and friendship, all set against the backdrop of wartime.
