Synopsis
A thousand years after natural disasters nearly wiped out all life on planet Zi, humans have rebuilt their civilization by salvaging ancient Zoids. In a village that treasures a giant sword as a holy symbol, a teenage boy discovers an ancient Liger-type Zoid during a deep-sea salvage operation. When the village is attacked by skeletal Bio-Zoids seeking a powerful generator, the boy awakens the Liger and learns that the town's sacred sword is its weapon. Together, they fend off the mysterious Bio-Zoids, at least for now.
