Sinopsis
The Bakumatsu era was a time when the spirits of young men burned with concern for their country's future. Takasugi Shinsaku, a mercenary from Choshu, sneaks aboard a government ship with his comrade Katsura Kogorou, seeking a mysterious "timepiece" with the power to manipulate time. Fearing the government's intentions, Takasugi plans to destroy the artifact, but it is quickly stolen, forcing the pair to pursue the thief to Kyoto. Upon arrival, they discover the government has been overthrown and the deity Susanoo now rules. The city and its people are different, but their mission remains the same: Takasugi and Katsura resolve to reset time and save their nation from the forces trying to control it.
