Sinopsis
Train Heartnet, known as the Black Cat in the criminal underworld, is a notorious assassin who executes every assignment with deadly precision and no concern for human life. He is employed by Chronos, a powerful and secretive organization. One fateful night, the indifferent marksman encounters Saya Minatsuki, a mysterious bounty hunter, and forms an unusual bond with her. Inspired by Saya's optimistic perspective, Train begins to question his life choices. He decides to leave behind his identity as the Black Cat, choosing instead to pursue a righteous path as a lawful bounty hunter. However, Chronos—and especially Creed Diskenth, Train's obsessive subordinate—is displeased with Train's abrupt change of heart and is willing to take drastic actions to bring back their harbinger of misfortune. This former assassin turned "stray cat" can only roam so far before the inevitable echo of gunshots follows.
