Sinopsis

In 2017, Europe is under attack by the Holy Britannian Empire. To combat the overwhelming opposition and reduce casualties, the army forms a special unit called Wyvern, or W-0, composed of former Japanese citizens known as "Elevens." These young men and women pilot Knightmare frames into dangerous operations, hoping to make a name for themselves. When a European regiment attempting to recapture a crucial city is pinned down by the enemy, W-0 is sent to rescue them. Among those selected is Lieutenant Akito Hyuuga, known as "Hannibal's Ghost" due to his battlefield prowess. However, the rescue mission turns suicidal when the commanding officer initiates the Knightmare's self-destruct sequence, leaving Akito as the sole survivor.
