Sinopsis
In the spring of 1956, roughly a decade after the Pacific War, a new teacher named Rieko Sakamoto is assigned to an elementary school in Kiba, downtown Tokyo. Simultaneously, Shizu Miyanaga, a transfer student from Kobe, joins class #4 of the 6th grade. Shizu, a bright and pretty girl with dreams of becoming a singer, quickly becomes the center of attention in the class due to her athletic and academic prowess. Akira, the son of a joiner and also the class president, starts to develop special feelings for Shizu...
