Sinopsis

The story unfolds in Nagasaki prefecture, specifically in Minami Shimabara city, the legendary origin of the Shimabara Rebellion that shook Japan in the early Edo period. It is also where Shirou, a third-year junior high school student, spends his days with his school friends. One summer day, Shirou's childhood friend Akane returns from Tokyo. Shirou and Akane take a stroll around Minami Shimabara with another longtime friend, Tokiya. As these friends deal with nostalgia and more complex feelings, a mysterious creature named Goron suddenly appears before them. This encounter with a small creature sets in motion great events once more in this city.
