Sinopsis
In moments of distress, if you look carefully, you might spot a peculiar phone number written in red. If you dial this number, you'll hear a young man introduce himself as the Yato God. Yato is a minor deity and a self-proclaimed "Delivery God," who aspires to have millions of worshippers. However, without a single shrine dedicated to him, his goals remain unfulfilled. He spends his days doing odd jobs for five yen each, until his weapon partner abandons him, fed up with his uselessness. Just as things seem bleak for Yato, his luck changes when a middle school girl, Hiyori Iki, supposedly saves him from a car accident, taking the hit for him. Remarkably, she survives, but the incident causes her soul to become loose, allowing it to leave her body. Hiyori demands that Yato restore her to normal, but upon learning that he needs a new partner to do so, she reluctantly agrees to help him find one. With Hiyori's assistance, Yato's fortunes may finally be turning around.
