Sinopsis
In 2075, space travel has become a reality, leading to the colonization of the moon and the commercialization of outer space. Ai Tanabe, a woman with a passion for the cosmos, joins Technora Corporation's Debris Section, dedicated to removing dangerous space junk between Earth and the Moon. However, Ai soon realizes how unappreciated her job is. The Debris Section is understaffed, poorly funded, and uses a dilapidated spaceship called the "Toy Box." Despite these challenges, Ai perseveres and becomes acquainted with her colleagues, including the bumbling Philippe Myers, the mysterious Edelgard Rivera, and the passionate Hachirouta Hoshino. Planetes is a sci-fi series that portrays the vastness of space as a backdrop for the personal lives of ordinary people who dream amongst the stars.
