Sinopsis

In a world inhabited solely by Pokémon, a young Hikozaru aspires to join the Pukurin Guild, a large area where Exploration Teams gather and work. Intimidated by the apparent strength of the guild members and the guild's security, Hikozaru runs away, stumbling upon an unconscious Pochama during his escape. The Pochama awakens and is immediately shocked by both a talking Hikozaru and his own appearance, as Pochama realizes he is actually a human. With Pochama having no memories aside from his previous human life, Hikozaru suggests that he seek help from the leader of Pukurin Guild. While Guildmaster Pukurin may not have answers about Pochama's transformation, he decides to make Pochama and Hikozaru an Exploration Team, which Hikozaru names Pokédans. For their first mission, the duo must retrieve a Gabite Scale by venturing into Labyrinth Cave with Kimawari.
