Sinopsis
As night falls over the 808 towns of Edo, a figure stirs in the attic. Nezumi Kozo Jirokichi is a noble thief who steals from the wealthy to give to the poor. Osuzu, a townswoman struggling to raise her young child after losing her husband, crosses paths with him. Bonji Yasugoro and Chogoro attempt to use Osuzu to uncover Nezumi Kozo's true identity. Okahiki Kanemon is known for hating the sin but not the sinner. Director Sadao Yamanaka envisions a melancholic human drama set in the streets of Edo.
