Yu☆Gi☆Oh!: Hikari no Pyramid serves as a sequel to the US storyline of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters. As part of a promotional deal for the movie, attendees received one of four Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG cards with their ticket: Pyramid of Light, Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon, Sorcerer of Dark Magic, and Watapon.
