Synopsis
Following the tragic accident that took her mother’s life, 16-year-old Tooru moves in with her grandfather, only to find she can no longer stay there due to ongoing renovations. Unwilling to trouble her family or friends and reluctant to face their judgment, she secretly begins living in a tent in the forest. One evening, after returning from work, she discovers her tent buried under a landslide. Yuki Souma, her school’s popular "prince," and his cousin Shigure Souma, a renowned author, happen upon her and offer her a place to stay until her grandfather’s home is ready. Once at the Souma residence, Tooru learns their shocking secret: when a Souma is embraced by someone of the opposite sex, they temporarily transform into one of the zodiac animals! Far from a harmless quirk, this is a cruel curse with a dark past. As Tooru meets more members of the zodiac family, will her compassionate yet unyielding spirit be enough to face the mysteries hidden within the Souma household?
