Synopsis

Long ago, Kanna, the last of a winged race, was imprisoned in a castle due to fear. She met a soldier named Ryuuya, who she fell in love with and shared her wish to see the world and find her mother. Ryuuya's efforts failed when Kanna was sealed in the sky by magic, cursed to eternal pain. Centuries later, Yukito, a descendant of Ryuuya, arrives in a quiet town before its annual festival, hoping to make some money. He meets Misuzu, an unusual girl, and recalls his mother's words about finding the winged girl's reincarnation and setting her free. Yukito and Misuzu's fates become intertwined, and as Yukito discovers Misuzu's connection to the past, he must choose between leaving or breaking Kanna's centuries-old curse.
