Synopsis

When Tokyo residents gaze at the sky, they do not see a clear blue expanse or a promising future. Instead, an imposing alien mothership dominates the horizon, casting a shadow over the city. Three years prior, the arrival of the "Invaders" sparked a global conflict that threatened humanity's existence. The Japanese government mobilized to combat the Invaders, leading to the mass production of weapons and the emergence of pacifist movements. Kadode Koyama and Ouran Nakagawa, two high school girls, navigate their final days in this world, attending school and enjoying their youth. As they mature, they come to understand the true nature of adulthood in a world where adults appear to be deceitful and destructive demons. They realize that the genuine threat to humanity is not the Invaders but humanity itself.
