Synopsis

Once, a catastrophic explosion occurred, causing the souls of the dead to manifest in the physical world, triggering massive explosions that wiped out nations and civilization. Now, humanity is isolated and disconnected. A legendary porter sets out to reconnect people, hoping to save them. In North America, as Sam Bridges travels to save America, others deal with their isolation in different ways. An old man seeks salvation outside of Bridges' connection, a female warrior aims to start a world of constant fighting, a boy harbors a grudge against Bridges, and a girl embraces loneliness. As humanity stands on the brink, their fates and hopes converge, and another story of Death Stranding begins.
