Synopsis
Hikaru receives a call inviting him to the Japan/China/Korea Junior's Tournament but learns he must first compete in a preliminary tournament to select Japan's three contestants. After discussing this with Akira, he finds out Akira has already been chosen for the tournament and won't be in the preliminaries. Determined to join the team with Akira, Hikaru decides not to visit Akira's Go Salon until he secures his spot. However, this proves challenging as he must compete against old friends for one of the two available positions, and a new rival emerges from the Kansai Go Institute.
