Synopsis
Mikio Osawa, a shy fifth-grader living in the Osaka suburbs, harbors a secret crush on his classmate Haruko Tezuka. Too timid to confess his feelings, Mikio's world is turned upside down when his friend Megane reveals that Haruko is moving away. Kaede Newtown, a romantic comedy created by illustrator Naoto Iwakiri, captures the essence of childhood nostalgia with its charming characters and music by Aprils and TOMOVSKY.
