Synopsis
Narumi Katou, a middle-aged man with ZONAPHA Syndrome, encounters Masaru Saiga, a young boy fleeing from his family who want to assassinate him and claim his fortune. Narumi helps Masaru escape and fights the pursuers, discovering they are sentient humanoid puppets. A white-haired girl named Shirogane, Masaru's guardian, joins the fray and summons a puppet from Masaru's suitcase. The story follows Narumi, Masaru, and Shirogane as they unravel the mysteries of an ancient tale of love and betrayal, and the long battle between humans and puppets.
