Synopsis

Suletta Mercury leaves her planet to attend the Asticassia School of Technology at her mother's request. At the school, students determine right and wrong through duels, and the top-ranking duelist wins the hand of Miorine Rembran, a prize decided by Miorine's father. When Guel Jeturk, the school's best pilot and Miorine's current fiancé, demands that she move in with him, Suletta objects and is challenged by Guel. Although she wins, Suletta is detained on suspicion of piloting a forbidden mobile suit—a GUND-ARM, or "Gundam"—which results in her victory being voided. Miorine refuses to accept further injustices and proposes another duel with higher stakes. Suletta must triumph again, or she will be expelled and her beloved Gundam Aerial will be destroyed.

Arrière-plan

A short novel titled Yuri Kago no Hoshi, set before the events of Kidou Senshi Gundam: Suisei no Majo, was written by Ichirou Ookouchi and published on the anime's official Japanese website. The novel was used in the production of the opening theme. The Kidou Senshi Gundam: Suisei no Majo - Asticassia School of Technology Radio Committee program, hosted by the series' voice actors, has been streaming on the Onsen internet radio station since October 9, 2022.
