Synopsis

For many years, Sumire Kanzaki of the Flower Division has been the guardian and protector of the Imperial city. But all good things must come to an end. As the star of the Imperial Theatre Company, Sumire was the beacon of strength and inspiration for her comrades. Through her, the Flower Division found their courage and created many cherished memories. Now, as the spotlight begins to fade on one legend, another must step into the light. The curtain rises for the final performance as the once-bright star starts to dim. As one era ends, another begins.

Sakura Taisen: Sumire is set after the events of the game Sakura Taisen 4: Koiseyo Otome. It was created to celebrate Michie Tomizawa's retirement from voicing Sumire Kanzaki in 2002.
