Shanhai Jing: Zaijian Gaoshou

Bai Ze, a Kunlun healer, was exiled after accidentally destroying an island while trying to cure Hei Ling's terminal illness. Seven years later, he returns to seek redemption. The Kunlun world, made up of thousands of islands, is plagued by Dark Spirits, a poisonous essence that can cause irreversible damage to one's mind. Bai Ze attempted to defend the healing island from the Dark Spirits using an untested theory, but ended up destroying the entire island and was expelled by the masters. Seven years later, as Bai Ze is about to prove himself with his research, he becomes the victim of a frame-up and is forced to flee. He escapes to the now ruined healing island where a qilin named Yi is searching for a cure for his slow-growing horn. The young boy is suffering from frustration and pain, unable to withstand the Dark Spirits' erosion. Bai Ze must decide whether to reclaim his name or help the patient in need. Will he be able to banish the Dark Spirits and heal the world?
