Synopsis
Lina Inverse, a powerful and greedy sorceress, travels the world, stealing treasures from bandits who cross her path. In a recent encounter, a group of thieves lies in wait for her in a forest, seeking revenge. Just as Lina is about to overpower them, a swordsman named Gourry Gabriev appears. Mistaking Lina for a damsel in distress, the chivalrous but oblivious Gourry confronts the brigands to rescue her. After swiftly defeating them, he insists on escorting Lina to Atlas City. Though initially reluctant, she eventually agrees to his offer.
