Synopsis

Determined not to lose, Yi-rang orchestrates a collapse during a relay race, despite being on the verge of abandoning her dream of becoming an athlete. Simultaneously, Soo-min transfers from Seoul, and Cheol-soo, who aspires to be a scientist, enters her life. Though they are all immature, they are in the midst of youthful ambition. This warm-hearted animation, created by Han Hye-jin-I and Ahn Jae-hoon, encourages Yi-rang's dreams and portrays the fantasy and excitement of adolescence through encounters with kind people. Set in the '80s and '90s, the film's depiction of an old umbrella and a railroad crossing through the downtown evokes a sense of nostalgia for a vanished past, reminding the audience of their own lost dreams in a rapidly capitalizing modern society.
