Synopsis
One day after school, first-year high school student Yomogi Asanaka encounters a starving man under a bridge. The man, Gauma, introduces himself as a "kaiju user," someone who deals with the "kaiju"—monsters that harm the city and its citizens. The next evening, Yomogi meets Gauma and his classmate Yume Minami, just as a kaiju appears in a populated area. Due to Gauma's inexperience, he summons a giant robot known as Dynazenon, which drags Gauma, Yomogi, Minami, and Koyomi Yamanaka—an unemployed man nearby—into its cockpit. Their encounter with the kaiju marks the start of their involvement with kaiju eugenicists—kaiju users with malicious intent—and their efforts to unlock Dynazenon's full potential.

SSSS.Dynazenon is part of the 2018 Gridman Universe shared media project by Tsuburaya Productions. It was first announced in December 2019 during Tsuburaya Productions' Tsubucon convention.
