Rei, a flamboyant wanderer obsessed with being the best, travels with a small dragon named Mugen and a talking robot named Salt. One day, Rei encounters Raira and Rikuto April, who hold clues to the "ultimate" Battle Spirits card. Together, they embark on a quest to find it, facing various colorful personalities.
