Chu Feng: B.E.E

In 2017, a team of brilliant scientists makes a groundbreaking advancement in bioengineering. However, all the new technologies are directed towards military applications, sparking a new arms race. Vanguards, the pinnacle of modern bioengineering and the most advanced weapon, are extensively used in this race. Despite their exceptional combat effectiveness, vanguards' lifespans are shortened by the nanomachines they employ. Typically, most vanguards retire from the army after several years of service. Liuli, the protagonist, has also exhausted a significant portion of her lifespan due to prolonged missions. With only 380 days remaining, Liuli is assigned a new mission: to rescue a hostage held in a civilian facility. This is a challenging task for Liuli, who is primarily trained for combat and killing. Nevertheless, she ultimately decides to accept the mission. During the mission, Liuli discovers that the man holding the hostage was once a vanguard. The former vanguard, Zhongrong Zhou, pleads with the government to release the son of Eden. As a vanguard, Liuli feels deep disdain for Zhou. A battle between the two vanguards ensues...
