Sinossi

Five years ago, a mysterious event called the Global Synchronic Urban Disappearance caused a large part of Ikebukuro to vanish overnight. After the disaster, the residents were left in chaos, and strange electromagnetic phenomena known as "Auroras" began to appear. Inspired by Izumi Hinazaki's performance at a play using the "Super Material Theater," a stage designed to revitalize Ikebukuro through hologram-enhanced performances, high school student Seria Morino decides to become an idol. She is soon scouted by Kaoru Sakakibara, the director of Alice in Theater, the troupe that Izumi used to be a part of. Seria joins the group, hoping to pursue her dreams, but she soon realizes that something is not quite right.

Sfondo

The first episode of Gekidol aired alongside Alice in Deadly School on January 4, 2021 as part of a New Year's special. The series was broadcasted from January 5, 2021 to March 23, 2021. A Blu-ray Box containing all 12 episodes was released on March 3, 2021.
