Sinossi

In 18th century Paris, a coffin carrying the body of noblewoman Lia de Beaumont is discovered floating down the Seine River. Lia was a spy for King Louis XV, and her younger brother D'Eon has just been knighted. When several disappearances occur throughout Paris, the young knight suspects a connection to his sister's death. Joining the secret police to investigate, D'Eon uncovers a conspiracy involving French and Russian nobility, fueled by a cult. He believes Lia may have uncovered the truth and was killed as a result. That night, the secret police plan to arrest the Duke of Orléans, suspected of masterminding the plot. However, one of their own transforms into a demonic Gargoyle and massacres the group. D'Eon attempts to rescue the sole survivor, only to find that he too has been transformed. During the battle, D'Eon is possessed by Lia's vengeful spirit, who takes control of his body and slays the Gargoyle. In the aftermath, D'Eon must gather allies to uncover the depths of this supernatural conspiracy.
