Sinossi
Rikuo Nura, a boy with both youkai and human heritage, grew up as the young master of the Nura Clan. Although he treated the clan, composed of various youkai, like family, he soon realized that most people viewed youkai as terrifying creatures from folklore. Determined to live a normal human life, Rikuo faces challenges when his youkai attendant, Tsurara Oikawa, attends school with him, and his friend Kiyotsugu, who idolizes youkai, seeks to prove their existence. Complicating matters further are rival youkai and other entities threatening those Rikuo cares about. To protect them, Rikuo must embrace his ancestry as the grandson of the legendary Nurarihyon and transform into a youkai at night, becoming worthy of leading the Nura Clan.

Advanced screenings of the first two episodes of Nurarihyon no Mago were held in select TOHO Cinemas on June 13 and 20 of 2010. The full anime aired on Yomiuri TV, Tokyo MX, Chuukyou TV, BS11, Animax, among other stations in Japan.
