Sinossi
An apocalyptic event has devastated Japan, leaving endless sandy plains and a rusting disease that terrorizes the remnants of civilization. The government blames Bisco Akaboshi, labeled the "Man-Eating Mushroom," for spreading mushroom spores. However, Bisco is actually a "Mushroom Protector" determined to find the legendary "Sabikui" mushroom, said to cure the rusting disease. Joined by his giant crab Akutagawa and the kind doctor Milo Nekoyanagi, who searches for a treatment for his sick sister, Bisco quests to purify the rotting world despite the prejudice he faces.
