Sinossi

Dai Mugen once had an unmatched passion for playing the drums. However, after being defeated by rival drummer Rin Tanba in a competition, he questions his heart and quits. One day, Dai encounters a strange creature named Goutetsu, who claims to be a "god." Recognizing Dai's potential, Goutetsu appoints him as his "oyakata" to guide him in the world of "kamizumo," battles between gods through sumo wrestling. Powered by the drumbeats of their oyakata, Dai must pick up the mallets again. As they rack up victories, Dai confronts his self-doubts and reignites his passion to stand on kamizumo's topmost stage.

Saikyou Kamizmode! was first announced on July 22, 2020 during a Bandai Namco x BN Pictures Festival livestream event. The first episode premiered on September 28, 2020 on Bandai Namco Pictures' YouTube channel before its television premiere on Tokyo MX, which premiered on October 9, 2020.
